BAKU, February 3. /TASS/. Azerbaijan is concerned by the growth of tensions in Turkish-Russian relations, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told a news conference here on Tuesday.
He indicated that Azerbaijan was holding talks with officials from both countries on normalizing the relations.
"We hope these tensions won't do a major damage to relations between the regional countries," Mammadyarov said, adding that Azerbaijan had a strategic relationship with Turkey.
"We also maintain very close relations with Russia and hence we'll do everything in our power to tap a way out of this crisis," he said.
