TEHRAN, January 25. /TASS/. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is starting a European tour on Monday, during which he will visit Italy, the Vatican and France.
This is the first foreign visit by the Iranian president after the start of implementation of a nuclear deal on January 16, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action struck by Tehran and six world powers, as well as cancelation of sanctions connected with Iran’s nuclear program.
Rouhani was to have visited Italy and France on November 14-17 last year. But the trip was postponed in connection with a series of terrorist acts in Paris on November 13, which killed 130 people and left hundreds wounded.
