Lower house of Tajik parliament endorses constitutional amendments

DUSHANBE, January 22. /TASS/. The lower house of the Tajik parliament has unanimously endorsed on Friday the amendments to the current Constitution of the country, which give the right to incumbent head of state Emomali Rahmon to be elected an unlimited number of times.

The draft law on the amendments to the Constitution of Tajikistan has been forwarded to the Constitutional Court, which will determine the date of the subsequent referendum on the constitutional amendments.
