PARIS, January 21. /TASS/. France is ready to cooperate with Russia in Syria focusing on the fighting against the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, French President Francois Hollande said on Thursday.
"I would like us to strengthen cooperation and coordination with Russia to act against the IS, but only against the IS, because this is our enemy," Hollande said.
"I told Vladimir Putin we should exchange information and hit the terrorist organization into the heart without putting the moderate opposition in complicated conditions," the president said.
