CHISINAU, January 21. /TASS/. The opposition holding rallies in central Chisinau - the Party of Socialists, Our Party and the Dignity and Truth (DA) civic platform - has formed a single column and began marching along the main streets of Chisinau.
The march has brought together about 1,000 people chanting "We are one people", Down with Mafia" and "Early Elections", a TASS correspondent reports from the scene. The three associations went to the rally without party symbols, people are carrying Moldova’s flags.
Police cordoned off the parliament building and redirected public transport to bypass the city’s main boulevard. Police officers do not interfere with protesters’ actions whose rallies are peaceful.
