MINSK, January 20. /TASS/. Representatives of the Ukrainian government in the Contact Group for settling the armed civil conflict in eastern Ukraine have promised to open up the first passage for humanitarian cargoes in the Luhansk region, Martin Sajdik, the special representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office said on Wednesday upon the results of the Group’s meeting.
He said the Ukrainian authorities would ponder a possibility of opening a checkpoint for civilian transport and humanitarian cargoes in the Luhansk region.
