KIEV, January 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian government has initiated the extension of the list of sanctions against individuals and companies, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told the cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday.
"I am asking the Justice Ministry and Foreign Ministry to invite the sanctions committee," Yatsenyuk said. "We will prepare new proposals for the National Security and Defense Council on expanding the number of individuals and companies on which Ukraine will impose sanctions."
According to Yatsenyuk, sanctions on individuals are the authority of the National Security and Defense Council and the Security Service of Ukraine.
