MINSK, January 19. /TASS/. The Belarusian side is preparing to hold the meetings of the Contact Group on Ukraine and its four working subgroups on January 20, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman has said.
On Tuesday, Minsk will host the meeting of the subgroup on political issues. "Tomorrow we are getting ready to host the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine and all its subgroups," Dmitry Mironchik said.
The previous meeting of the Contact Group and its working subgroups, the first one this year, was held in the Belarusian capital Minsk on January 13.
In late December, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Boris Gryzlov, a permanent member of the Russian Security Council, as Moscow’s envoy to the Contact Group on Ukraine.
