ROME, January 17. /TASS/. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday he will pay a visit to Italy on January 25-26.
Rouhani told ANSA news agency the agenda would include issues of cooperation in the areas of energy and science, and investments in production and infrastructure.
During his stay in Rome, Rouhani is expected to meet with Pope Francis in Vatican City.
The Iranian president planned to visit Italy on November 14, 2015 but the visit was postponed over the terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13.
