MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops shelled a village to the west of Gorlovka overnight to Tuesday, a source in the law enforcement agencies of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has said.
"At around 10:30 p.m. on January 11 the Ukrainian forces opened fire on the village of Shirokaya Balka," the source told the Donetsk news agency.
The troops opened fire from the positions in the Novgorodskoye village using mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, the source said. Some 10 shells with the caliber of 82 mm were fired by the Ukrainian side.
On Monday, Kiev forces shelled the village of Kominternovo located in a buffer zone in the south of Donbass. The shelling was carried out from the Ukrainian army’s positions in the Vodyanoye village.
