MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army did not shell cities and districts of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) overnight, the heads of the local administrations told the Donetsk news agency on Thursday.
"The night passed quietly, everything was normal," head of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk Maxim Zhukovsky said. According to the administrations, the ceasefire regime was observed also in other districts of the city - Kirovsky, Kievsky and Kuibyshevsky.
The night passed without shelling in Makeyevka, Gorlovka and Yasinovataya. "It was quiet and uneventful. We are preparing for the New Year," head of Yasinovataya administration Yuri Yanenko said.
Authorities in the southern regions of DPR have also reported no shelling attacks by the armed forces of Ukraine.
