MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Qatar's Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah has voiced confidence that Russia exerts great effort to stabilize the situation in the Middle East. He was speaking on Friday at the beginning of the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"I am glad to be in Moscow. I have already visited Russia but came to the capital for the first time," he said. "I believe this is a good opportunity to discuss the bilateral agenda and the situation in the Middle East."
"We need to invest considerable effort to achieve stability in the region," he went on to say. "I am confident that our Russian friends are exerting great effort."
