Ukraine’s retail trade goes down by 22% in 2015

The biggest retail trade slump was reported in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions in eastern Ukraine: 76.4 and 66.9% respectively

KIEV, December 17. /TASS/. Ukraine’s retail trade in January-November 2015 dropped by 21.4% on January-November 2014 to 918.4 billion hryvnias (40 billion U.S. dollars), the state statistics authorities said on their website on Thursday.

The biggest retail trade slump was reported in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions in eastern Ukraine: 76.4 and 66.9% respectively. The Lvov region in western Ukraine and the Kiev region demonstrated the lowest retail trade decrease of 12.9 and 13% respectively. In Kiev however retail trade went down by 15%
