MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. Russia’s emergencies ministry is assembling the 47th convoy with humanitarian cargo for Donbass.
"On December 14, from the ministry’s Noginsk (near Moscow) rescue centre trucks will head for the Rostov region (near border with Ukraine), they will carry humanitarian cargo for people in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions," the ministry’s press service said.
In Rostov, vehicles from other Russian regions will join the convoy.
The 47th convoy will deliver to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions about 1,200 tonnes of humanitarian cargo.
Before the delivery of cargo, all the vehicles were serviced, the ministry said.
Since August 2014, Russia has delivered more than 55,000 tons of humanitarian cargos to Ukraine’s troubled Donbass region. The emergencies ministry plans to continue offering humanitarian assistance to the Donetsk and Lugansk republics in the coming year.
