SOFIA, December 7./TASS/. Three people were wounded when unidentified people opened fire near a shopping mall in the center of Bulgarian capital, Sofia, earlier on Monday, the press service of the Bulgarian Interior Ministry reports.

It said police received a telephone call about a shooting incident in Cherny Vrykh Street at 17:45 local time (18:45 Moscow time). Ambulances and police units were immediately sent to the scene. The area was cordoned off, the ministry said.

Three people were wounded and rushed to hospital. Investigation has been launched, it said.
