Russian humanitarian convoy sets off for Donbass

Since August 2014, the Russian emergencies ministry has delivered more than 54,600 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes to Donbass

MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. A Russian humanitarian convoy has set off for Donbass, a spokesman for the Russian emergencies ministry told TASS on Thursday.

"More than 100 trucks set off from the Russian emergencies ministry’s Don rescue center in the Rostov region at 04:00 a.m. Moscow time. The truck are carrying more than 1,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes, primarily food products and medicines, to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions," the spokesman said.

The convoy will break in two before the border. One will go to the Donetsk region, and the other - to Lugansk region, after all necessary procedures at border crossing points.
