MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. The night in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic was calm, no shelling by Ukrainian troops was fixed, local authorities told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
On Thursday, Ukrainian troops opened mortar fire on the settlement of Spartak, located near the Donetsk airport. A fire began when a mine hit a residential building. None of the local residents was injred.
The Contact Group on resolving the crisis in Donbas agreed at the meeting in Minsk, Belarus, in late August to ensure complete ceasefire starting from September 1.
However, the republic’s defense ministry has reported the situation in the republic worsening of late because of Ukrainian troops.
