KIEV, November 15. /TASS/. The European Union will take an active part in financing demining works in Donbas, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Sunday.
"In a conversation with [European Union foreign policy chief] Federica Mogherini we reached an agreement that the European Union would take an active part in financing demining works in Donbas," he said in an interview with Ukrainian television channels.
He said up to 90% of human losses in eastern regions occurred due to "stepping onto mines."
