"We fixed ten shelling incidents with the use of mortars, a mechanized infantry vehicle and firearms," the Donetsk News Agency quoted the report as saying.
The settlement of Sakhanka in the south of the self-proclaimed republic came under fire, shelled from the Shirokino settlement on the front line with the use of mortars of 82-milimeter and 120-milimeter caliber.
According to the defense ministry, Spartak and Veseloye settlements on the northern outskirts of the capital and the airport area have been frequently shelled by Ukrainian troops over the past few days.
