MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Passenger flights from Russia to Egypt have been suspended from 20:00 Moscow time on Friday, Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov told journalists.
"All regular, charter and transit flights from Russia to Egypt have been suspended from 20:00 Moscow time on Friday. Corresponding telegrams were sent to all air carriers making such flights - there nine of them - and to all Russian airports from where such flights are performed - there are more than twenty of them," he said.
He said planes to Egypt will fly empty to take passengers who have tickets for these flights without their luggage.
