Presidential press service: Belarus president Lukashenko to take oath of office Friday

MINSK, November 4. /TASS/. Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko will be sworn in during an inauguration ceremony held in Minsk on Friday, November 6, the presidential press service said on Wednesday.

"It will be the first time when the inauguration ceremony is held in the Palace of Independence," the press service said. "In the gala ceremonies hall, Alexander Lukashenko will take the oath of office as President of the Republic of Belarus and will put his signature under a relevant decree."

The official swearing-in ceremony is expected to be attended by nearly 1,000 guests, with high-ranking officials, members of parliament and diplomats along with guests from foreign countries among them, the press service said.
