MOSCOW, October 28 /TASS/. The CIS security services will focus joint efforts on liquidation of militants’ transportation channels, the Russian Federal Security Service said in an official statement released after the 39th session of the Council of the heads of security bodies and security services (SOBR) of the CIS member states.

"The SOBR members agreed that it is necessary to focus joint efforts on exposing and liquidating channels used for transporting militants and delivering arms as well as the sources of financing this criminal activity," FSB said in a statement obtained by TASS.

"The session defined ways of improving mechanisms of cooperation in exposing and revealing persons who undergo ideological and subversive terrorist training in Syria and Afghanistan and discussed the implementation of a package of measures aimed at coordination of efforts designed to neutralize militants’ unlawful activities," FSB stressed.
