TEHRAN, October 28. /TASS/. The Islamic State terrorists are planning to penetrate into Central Asian countries, a top advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday.
"We know that terrorists seek to infiltrate Central Asia, a region in the security domain of Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran," Ali Akbar Velayati was quoted as saying by Iran Daily at a meeting with Viktor Ivanov, the head of the Russian drug control service.
He also said that Tehran and Moscow cannot be indifferent to the plots that entail insecurity in Central Asia, Iran Daily reported.
