Ukraine’s Opposition Bloc says it will request court to recognize elections in Kharkov

"We will turn to court to recognize elections in the Kharkov region invalid over non-participation of our party," the party’s leader, Yuri Boiko

KIEV, October 25. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Opposition Bloc party said on Sunday it would turn to court to recognize local elections in the Kharkov region invalid.

"We will turn to court to recognize elections in the Kharkov region invalid over non-participation of our party," the party’s leader, Yuri Boiko, said at a news conference after the polling was over. "The authorities had been delaying our registration to the very last minute."

"It was a collusion and we are ready to prove it. They [the authorities] registered our candidates to the regional council on the last day, but, naturally, we had no time to register candidates to city and district councils," he said.
