Troyan: ukrainian police officers to have ‘daisies’, not stars as shoulder insignia

Ukrainian law enforcers are expected to be supplied with new shoulder boards on November 7

KIEV, October 24. /TASS/. Ukrainian police officers will be provided with new shoulder boards replacing traditional (the Soviet times) stars by insignia in a form of "daisies," Kiev’s regional police chief Vadim Troyan posted on Facebook.

"Removing stars from the shoulder boards at last," Troyan wrote attaching pictures of new shoulder boards with "daisies."

Ukrainian law enforcers are expected to be supplied with new shoulder boards on November 7.

On July 2, the Verkhovna Rada parliament approved the law on new national police.
