New batch of Russian humanitarian aid arrives in Donbas

More than 100 trucks have delivered to Donbas over 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid, including foodstuffs

MOSCOW, October 22. /TASS/. The convoys of Russia’s Emergencies Ministry have brought another batch of humanitarian aid to Donetsk and Luhansk, the ministry’s press service said on Thursday.

"All the vehicles of the Emergencies Ministry carrying humanitarian cargos have arrived in Donetsk and Luhansk. Now the effort to unload the cargo is beginning at the warehouses," a ministry official said.

The convoys will later return to the Rostov region, in southern Russia. More than 100 trucks have delivered to Donbas over 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid, including foodstuffs.

This is Russia’s 42th humanitarian convoy for Donbas since August last year. The Emergencies Ministry has delivered to the war-torn region more than 50,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargos.
