Grenade hits high-rise house in Ukraine’s Mariupol — interior ministry

The police found a used launcher and another one ready to fire at the site by the house

KIEV, October 19. /TASS/. A grenade has damaged a high-rise house in Mariupol (near Donetsk) in southern Ukraine, press service of Ukraine’s interior ministry said on Monday.

"At about 5 in the morning a caller told the police about an explosion in a high-rise house in Mariupol’s Nakhimov Avenue," the police said adding the explosion was caused by a grenade. "At the site by the house, the police found a used launcher and another one ready to fire."

Despite the damage nobody was injured.

The police arrested the equipment for further examination and began criminal procedures on the case of "a terrorist attack."
