Donetsk republic launches daily railway route to Russia’s border

The Donetsk republic and Russia are also connected with 10 regular buses from Donetsk to Moscow, Crimea and the southern Krasnodar Territory

MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. The authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic have launched a daily passenger train from Yasinovataya near Donetsk to the border with Russia, the transport ministry said on Friday.

"One more diesel train has been launched to the border with Russia," a spokesperson for the ministry told the Donetsk news agency.

A passenger train that operated only on Saturdays was launched from Yasinovataya, some 21 kilometers from Donetsk, to Ukraine’s frontier station Kvashino, controlled by the DPR.

The Donetsk republic and Russia are also connected with 10 regular buses from Donetsk to Moscow, Crimea and the southern Krasnodar Territory.
