BERLIN, October 5. /TASS/ The countries involved in air strikes on positions of militants belonging to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group in Syria should coordinate their action, representative of Germany’s foreign ministry Martin Schaefer said on Monday.
"It is very important to have necessary communication among the military representatives of countries involved in air strikes so that to avoid possible dangerous mistakes, which may cause further escalation," he said.
"We hope the coming days and weeks will be used for progress in search for a political solution to the problem," he said adding military means are unable to settle the conflict in Syria long-term.
