Ceasefire holds in Ukraine's unrecognized Donetsk republic

MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. No ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces have been registered on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the last 24 hours, local administrations told Donetsk News Agency on Friday.

"Everything is still calm and good," Donetsk’s Kirovsky district head Yury Budrin said. Ceasefire also hold in Donetsk’s Kievsky and Petrovsky districts.

No shellings were registered overnight in the towns of Dokuchaevsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and Yasinovataya. "The night was calm," Gorlovka’s administration said.

The authorities of the Novoazovsky, Telmanovsky and Starobeshevsky districts have not reported any violations of ceasefire in settlements near the contact line in Donbas.

"Everything is calm, we received no reports about shellings," Novoazovsky district’s administration head Oleg Morgun said.
