BRUSSELS, October 1. /TASS/. A collation involving Russia and Iran is needed to resolve the conflict in Syria, European Parliament President Martin Schulz said on Thursday.
"We will have to talk to Russia and to build some kind of common strategy. We need an international coalition which needs to be formed on the international level," Schulz said. "That coalition will definitely need Iran, Russia."
"The basic principle for that is that countries should be honest with each other," he said adding that the European Parliament would help the process of the political settlement in Syria.
