Talks of foreign ministers of P5+1 countries, Iran begin in New York

The ministers are expected to discuss the course of implementation of the historic agreement on the Iranian nuclear programme that was reached in July 2015

UNITED NATIONS, September 29. /TASS/. Talks at the level of foreign ministers of the P5+1 format countries and Iran have begun at the UN headquarters on the sidelines of the 70th jubilee session of the UN General Assembly.

The ministers are expected to discuss the course of implementation of the historic agreement on the Iranian nuclear programme that was reached in July 2015.

The French and Iranian Foreign Ministers held a bilateral meeting prior to the talks.

The Russian and Iranian delegations were the last to enter the hall where the meeting was held.
