MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have violated ceasefire regime twice over the last 24 hours on the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), LPR people’s militia said on Friday.

"The ceasefire regime is not observed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. From 6am on September 17 to 6am on September 18, two violations of ceasefire regime were registered," people’s militia said.

In the morning on September 17 and at night on September 18, Ukrainian forces shelled the settlement of Kalinovka from small arms and Utes heavy machine gun from the settlement of Luganskoye, people’s militia added.

At the meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on August 26, the participants confirmed their plans to ensure ceasefire in Donbas from September 1. OSCE’s (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) Special Representative in Ukraine Martin Sajdik said that it is necessary for ensuring security at schools along the contact line. Over the last days, only few violations of ceasefire regime were registered in Donbas, with the most serious case registered overnight to September 5, when one civilian was killed and two others injured.
