There were direct hits and multiple fire outbreaks in the settlement of Alexandrovka, fires have been registered at 11 locations

MOSCOW, August 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian artillery bombardment of the settlement of Alexandrovka in Donetsk on Wednesday evening has left three people wounded, the Donetsk Mayor’s Office said on Thursday.

"There were direct hits and multiple fire outbreaks in the settlement of Alexandrovka. Fires have been registered at 11 locations. According to the available information, three people were injured," Donetsk News Agency quotes the Mayor’s Office spokesman as saying.

The city administration added that three more populated localities had come under fire. "In the settlement of Staromikhailovka, a house suffered a direct hit with a subsequent fire outbreak. In the settlement of Abakumov the destruction of a country house following a direct hit has been registered," the city administration said.

Due to the shelling of Donetsk by the Ukrainian army in the evening on August 26 and overnight on August 27 14 houses were damaged, most of them in Alexandrovka, the Mayor’s Office said.
