Volume of financial aid to Greece to reach 86 billion euro - Eurogroup president

BRUSSELS, August 14. /TASS/. The volume of the 3rd Greek bailout programme will stand at 86 billion euro, Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem said on Friday upon the end of an extraordinary meeting of the group.

He indicated the figure included the 25 billion euro meant for recapitalization of the Greek banking system.

The first tranche of aid to Greece will stand at 26 billion euro, which Dijsselbloem said is a very significant amount. It will be issued in several installments until the end of October, said the President of the European Stabilization Mechanism, Klaus Regling.

He indicated that the first payment might be effectuated as early as August 19.
