MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The political subgroup of the Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Ukraine will discuss at a video conference on August 12 three key issues of the peace settlement in Donbas, envoy of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin, representing the republic at the Minsk talks, said on Monday.
"Unfortunately, for a long time now, the agenda of the political subgroup has remained unchanged," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him. "During the upcoming video meeting we shall discuss a special status of Donbas, the constitutional reform and the local elections."
DPR authorities have reiterated those key aspects are being failed by Kiev. They say, the Ukrainian authorities without agreeing with the self-proclaimed republics have been undertaking unilateral steps, which realistically only imitate implementation of the peace agreements.
