MOSCOW, August 1. /TASS/. Ukrainian military opened fire on the village of Oktyabrsky, within the boundaries of Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky district, setting private households ablaze, the Emergencies Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said on Saturday.
"A residential house in Marshal Zhukov Street has caught fire after a projectile hit it. The rescuers are trying to put down the fire now," the Donetsk news agency quoted him as saying.
The emergencies ministry said another residential building was damaged by shelling.
The village of Oktyabrsky came under regular shelling from positions of Kiev military as it is located near the line of contact. Most of its infrastructure has been destroyed.
