MOSCOW, August 1./TASS/. Seven local residents were killed and another 19 were wounded in July when Ukrainian troops shelled the town of Gorlovka in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the town administration reported on Sunday.
Three of the wounded civilians were children, the Donetsk News Agency quoted an administration spokesperson as saying.
All in all, a total of 164 civilians have been killed in the town in 2015, and 501 have received different wounds. Sixteen children, the highest figure in the troubled region, have been killed by Ukrainian shells. Shelling is fixed on a daily basis, mainly at night.
