MOSCOW, July 28. /TASS/. A woman in Gorlovka (in the Donetsk region) has been wounded during the shelling of the city’s central part by the Ukrainian military, a source in the public health department at the City Hall told the Donetsk News Agency.

"A wounded woman aged 62 has been taken to the city’s hospital," the source said, adding that the incident occurred during the shelling of the city’s central district overnight on July 28.

"The woman is in critical condition, she is in intensive care," a representative of the local authorities said.

The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has noted that Gorlovka often comes under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the DPR children’s ombudsperson, during the standoff between the DPR militias and Ukraine’s Armed Forces "the greatest number of children’s deaths from the bursts of Ukrainian shells has been observed."
