The ceasefire regime was reportedly violated six times

MOSCOW, July 23. /TASS/. The Kiev forces have violated ceasefire regime six times over the past 24 hours, injuring one person, the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) militia said on Thursday.

"The ceasefire regime is not observed by the Ukrainian forces, they violated the regime six times over the last 24 hours," Luhansk Inform Center quoted LPR people’s militia as saying.

One civilian was injured in the shelling of the town of Pervomaisk. The Ukrainian forces also shelled the settlements of Oboznoye, Veselaya Gora and Zhelobok. "They fire from infantry fighting vehicles, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and mortars of 82mm caliber," the LPR people’s militia said.

Weaponry withdrawal

On July 18, the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics (DPR and LPR) announced their plans to unilaterally withdraw heavy weaponry from the contact line.

DPR announced on Tuesday that it completed the withdrawal of weaponry of less than 100mm caliber from the contact line, leaving tanks only in "hot spots" to the north of Donetsk and in Debaltsevo. LPR also completed the withdrawal of weaponry from the contact line, leaving tanks and armored vehicles only on positions near the Schastye settlement.

On Tuesday, the Contact Group on Ukrainian settlement reached an agreement on gradual withdrawal of weaponry of less than 100mm caliber by both sides.
