MOSCOW, July 20. /TASS/. The Kiev forces have shelled a school and a residential area in Gorlovka, the town’s administration told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
Two houses were destroyed by shelling in the settlement of Shirokaya Balka, the town administration said adding that no one was injured in the shelling.
Gorlovka is often shelled by the Ukrainian forces.
According to an employee of a hospital in Donetsk, a woman received a gunshot wound during the overnight shelling.
"A woman born in 1949 received a gunshot wound in the city’s Petrovsky District," the Donetsk news agency quotes him as saying.
According to the self-proclaimed republic's defense ministry, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were shelling Donetsk from their positions in Maryinka outside the regional capital Donetsk.
The ceasefire in the Donbas region formally came into force on February 15. The requirement to halt the hostilities is envisaged in the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements. This document was signed by the Contact Group members on February 12. The self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk have repeatedly stated that the observance of the truce depended entirely on the Ukrainian side.
