SANAA (Yemen), July 15 /TASS/. The Russian Emergency Ministry provided two planes to evacuate 118 people from the conflict zone in Yemen to Russia, a TASS correspondent reported.
The planes will arrive at Moscow’s international airport Domodedovo on Wednesday evening. The passengers will be accompanied by doctors from the Centrospas rescue team as well as psychologists from the ministry’s Center of emergency psychological aid.
Earlier on Wednesday, two Russian planes delivered to Yemen more than 46 tons of humanitarian aid consisting of canned meat and fish, baby food, sugar and other necessities upon the Russian government’s decree.
Over the past six years — between 2008 and 2014 — Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has carried out five humanitarian operations on providing aid to the Yemen Republic.
