MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. Russia has proved to be a reliable participant of talks on Iran’s nuclear program and this creates a further possibility of cooperation between Moscow and the European Union, EU’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini has told Euronews TV channel.

Mogherini has hailed the "positive" cooperation with Russia in this format on Iran’s nuclear program. This shows that cooperation on important global or regional issues is possible, she said, adding that this opportunity should be further used.

The EU and Russia have other joint issues that are yet to be solved, the top diplomat said, giving as an example the Middle East settlement.

On July 14, Iran and P5+1 group (US, UK, Russia, China, France and Germany) reached a final agreement on Tehran’s nuclear programme in Vienna which envisages guaranteeing the exclusively peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear dossier in exchange for gradual removal of sanctions.
