Luhansk militia: Kiev forces violate ceasefire five times over 24 hours

One militia fighter was killed

MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. Kiev forces have violated the ceasefire regime five times over the past 24 hours by shelling the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic from mortars and automatic grenade launchers, local militia said on Wednesday.

The shellings targeted the Donetsky and Veselaya Gora villages. One militia fighter was killed, the LuganskInformCenter said.

The "silence regime" officially entered into force in Donbas on February 15. The demand to halt hostilities was envisaged by the package of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements signed by the Contact Group on February 12. The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics have repeatedly stated that the truce observance depended entirely on the Ukrainian side.
