KIEV, July 13 /TASS/. The Ukrainian army is using land troops and helicopters to search for the missing Right Sector movement’s fighters near the town of Mukachevo, the Transcarpathian region in Western Ukraine, the local PMG.ua website reported on Monday.

It was clarified that the helicopters were circling over Mukachevo and the adjacent populated localities, including the villages of Lavki and Bobovishche.

The Mukachevo authorities have tightened security measures in the town.

The militants of the Right Sector extremist group attacked a sport cafe belonging to local deputy Mikhail Lanyo and a traffic police inspection post in Mukachevo on July 11. According to prosecutors of the Transcarpathian region, the radicals also staged a shooting in Mukachevo in which 3 people died and 11 were injured. The Right Sector, in turn, said that two of its militants had died and four had been wounded.

The prosecutors have classified the Mukachevo incident as a terrorist attack.
