EU extends Iran sanctions relief till July 13

Talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators on Teheran’s nuclear dossier are underway in the Austrian capital city Vienna

BRUSSELS, July 10. /TASS/. The European Union has extended Iran sanction relief till July 13, the European External Action Service said on Friday.

"To allow more time for the ongoing negotiations to reach a long term solution to the Iranian nuclear issue, the Council has prolonged until 13 July 2015 the suspension of EU restrictive measures agreed in the Joint Plan of Action with Iran dated 24 November 2013," the service said in a press release.

Talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators (the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany) on Teheran’s nuclear dossier are underway in the Austrian capital city Vienna. Initially, it was planned to sign a final agreement by June 30, 2015 but the talks have been extended over outstanding differences.
