UFA, July 10. /TASS/. Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani believes the relations between Russia and Iran are strategic, he told Russian President Vladimir Putin during their meeting in the Russian city of Ufa some 1,360 kilometres southeast of Moscow on Thursday.
Assessing relationship between Iran and Russia as strategic, Rouhani noted a recent growth of bilateral economic cooperation.
"For the past two years the relations between Iran and Russia have been developing in various directions, in particular in the economy, science and tourism," Rouhani said. "We have undertaken relevant steps for strengthening this cooperation.".
