KIEV, July 8. /TASS/. Ukraine’s government on Wednesday passed a bill allowing for denunciation of an intergovernmental agreement with Russia to construct two nuclear reactors at Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Minister Vladimir Demchishin said.
"This is a bill on denunciation that will be submitted to Rada [parliament]," Demchishin told TASS.
The intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in construction of 3rd and 4th power units at the Khmelnitsky NPP was signed on 9 June 2010. The agreement envisages that Russia will supply necessary equipment for construction and operation of units.
