Kiev forces violate ceasefire three times over past 24 hours — LPR’s militia

Late on Tuesday, the Kiev forces shelled the area of Pervomaysk using self-propelled artillery platforms

MOSCOW, July 8. /TASS/. Kiev forces have violated the silence regime three times over the past 24 hours by shelling the territory the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic, the LPR’s militia said on Wednesday.

"On July 7, the village of Veselogorovka came under shelling carried out with the use of an automatic grenade launcher and small arms from Troitskoye urban village at 4.30 p.m. local time [1330GMT]," the militia was quoted by the LuganskInformCentre as saying.

Late on Tuesday, the Kiev forces shelled the area of Pervomaysk using self-propelled artillery platforms. The shellings carried out from tank guns and infantry combat vehicles also targeted the area of a monument to Prince Igor.

The "silence regime" officially entered into force on February 15. The demand to halt the hostilities was envisaged by the package of measures for the implementation of the February 12 Minsk agreements. The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics have repeatedly stated that the truce observance depended entirely on the Ukrainian side.
