Referendum on terms of creditor agreement starts in Greece

It will be considered valid if at least 40% of registered voters take part in the vote

ATHENS, July 5 /TASS/. A referendum on terms of agreement with creditors started in Greece at 07:00 local time (07:00 Moscow time) on Sunday. According to the Greek Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administrative Reform, about 8.5 million people are eligible to vote in the referendum. It will be considered valid if at least 40% of registered voters take part in the vote.
